We have PE every Monday and Thursday. Please make sure your child wears their school PE kit to school on these days. Mr Black will be teaching computing each Monday and Mrs Sarmiento teaches Spanish on a Friday.

Maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality is very important. Please ensure your child is present and punctual at the beginning of the day. Gates open at 8.45 and the first lesson starts at 9am. The children are collected from their classroom door at 3:30pm.

How you can help

Please ensure you continue to sign your child’s reading record and that you read to, and with, your child every day. Asking questions, discussing the text and enjoying it, is just as important as being able to decode the words. Please ensure your child brings their reading record and books to school every day. The children learn Word of the Day and Word of the Week, talking to your children about these will improve their understanding and encourage them to use both.

Every Friday, your child will come home with a spelling sheet. Children are expected to practise their spelling at home in order to participate in their spelling quiz which will take place every Friday.

Bug Club and Times Table Rockstars are available to use.
