A nurturing village school in the heart of the city
‘Starting the journey well’
Welcome to Christ Church -
a village school in the heart of the city
Nestled on Brick Lane, we are a small, inclusive primary school rooted in our local community.
Children here are known, nurtured, and inspired through a curriculum that places wellbeing, curiosity, and joy for learning at its heart.
Starting the Journey Well
It is a privilege to welcome you to Christ Church Primary School as the new Head of School. Our wonderful school is a truly special place, where every child is valued, nurtured and encouraged to flourish. We are proud to be a village school in the heart of London, combining a close-knit family atmosphere with high expectations and exciting opportunities for all.
At Christ Church, relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Our staff, pupils and families work together to create a caring, inclusive community where children feel safe, happy and ready to learn. We warmly welcome families of all faiths and backgrounds, celebrating the diversity that makes our school such a vibrant and enriching place to be.
We believe that every child deserves the very best start to their educational journey. Through inspiring teaching, strong Christian values and a wide range of experiences, we help our pupils develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
The best way to understand what makes Christ Church so special is to see it for yourself. I would be delighted to welcome you for a tour of the school, where you can meet our wonderful staff and pupils and experience the warm, family atmosphere that makes our community unique.
I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to Christ Church Primary School.

The Church
Leaders have high expectations of pupils. From the early years, pupils meet these expectations. They work hard in class and achieve well. Staff praise and reward pupils for doing the right thing. Pupils value this, it motivates them to achieve more. Staff prepare pupils well for the next stage of their education.
