Local Authority Governor

Term of office: July 2023 - July 2027

I am a Local Authority Governor, appointed by Tower Hamlets in July 2023.

I know the local area well having worked next to Spitalfields Market for the past fourteen years. I am a solicitor working at A&O Shearman, where I have spent all my career. As a firm, we have been privileged to have a long association with Christ Church. For me personally, becoming a governor is not only a way of strengthening this relationship, but also an opportunity to explore my interest in education. Throughout my career, I have had an interest in developing young talent, whether by leading our recruitment team or mentoring junior colleagues. I hope to apply this experience to my role as a governor so as to help Christ Church flourish and provide the best possible education for its pupils.

I also sit on the Finance Committee of the Board of Governors.
